Got to the lake at 5:30 sharp and was the first boat on the water. Worked my favorite cove for a skinny 2lber, and moved over to the next cove. Worked half way around the second cove when I came apon a very fishy spot, made a long cast over the whole shore line and worked my bait back very slowly. I was rewarded with a 3lber, and a 2lber off the same exact spot. After a couple more cast I moved down maybe 30 ft. Made a long cast and got bit almost instantly, this was a nicer fish. I muscled him to the side of my boat and he still had a lot of fight in him and gave me 4 good head shakes, he ended up shaking the hook cause I didn't have a net with me. I would say he was a 4 or 5lber. FYI the lake dropped two vertical feet.
