Hey guys
In town for a conference and have a couple free afternoons. I see guys walking around the harbor over here by the convention center throwing plastics. I'm interested in anything that bites....If I go to Walmart and buy an ultra lite and some wiggly lures am I cool fishing this area? Anything off limits I need to know about. Forgive my ignorance here....I believe it's the "Pike" area.
Appreciate any/all info!

Matt

target boat docks, mooring cans, storm drains, rocks, any kind of structure and cover you can find.

Use creaturebaits, craws, 3-inch grubs either t-rigged or on Jigheads, swimbaits like big hammers (or fish traps)

Anything with a curly tail is killer for baybass. Halis will bite creature baits too:

White/pearl creaturebaits are great for halis.
