Shad?????

Seems like I saw shad at Lake Skinner this time last year.So far nothing this year.Is it too early for them?????As a sidenote,did anybody see the news that they found thousands of dead shad at Lake Elsinore about 6 weeks ago????:???:

Ya I went to try and get some crappie about a month ago at elsinore and noticed there were a lot on the shore. Still, they are still EVERYWHERE all around the lake.

I didn't get out to skinner at all last year but last week I was able to get out there and saw some shad among the tulies or whatever they are growing out of the lake. Very few though compared to Perris where everywhere you looked there were shad.

I learned from 4 years of fishing not to be surprised any type of fish will be where they were the year before..
