after a two year wait, i finally got one

I finally got my first white seabass yesterday 6\7. Though it was 7 incfes short of a legal, it was still exciting. The fish was caught on rapala x rap 08 in chrome. I used a wright and mcgill 7.5 flats blue medium power rod paired with a abu garcia orra s 30 reel with 10lb. Big game. Conditions were good water 65 degrees, light onshore winds and fish jumping all around. I would like to give a big thanks to everyone on here who has answered all of my pm's especially Robert (murietta angler) for answering the many I have sent him.

Congrats, and don't feel bad about the 2 year wait. I've been fishing these waters for 50 years and I have still not caught a WSB - legal or short. Its the one fish that has eluded me so far...maybe some day.
