Bubba and I got to Davies launch ramp around 7:00am,heard high tide wasn't till 12:00pm so felt that was early enough.
It was very low tide,it was a little difficult launching but not too bad,we got the "Reef Thief" in the water and headed out.
It was pretty flat, water temp started at 63.6 and got up to 64.4.
Started fishing some our regular reefs and stones.
Very slow, the current was ripping, out and somewhat uphill (never good).
Even with an ounce and a half, and 2ounces you couldn't keep contact with the bottom.
Never saw much bird action, but we were able to get a few calis to chew, thats it,wish there was more to report.
I tried to load some pics but me and this site, have issues loading pics sorry!
