went to NPH with Bassfishing24/7 to hit up the harbor during the early AM..
24/7's first cast in, and he nails a nice bass (pic to come)
I was having trouble getting bites to stick at first, due to the wooly hawg tail's flawed design, but after some trimming, I got much better hookups.
In the AM, this lame dude says to me: "This is private property" and I replied: "Not if you're below the mean high tide mark, which I'm way under.." And then the dude just stands there staring at me, I could have really screwed with him, but i decided to be peaceful and just brush him off like a fly.
We then headed south and made our way down, and 24/7 Hooks into a really nice fish (halibut?) but his line snapped before he could drag it up the sand.. X( ouch!
I nailed a Bass from the special spot that always seems to produce; not big, but a decent legal bass nonetheless:

We Were both snagging left and right, lots of hazards, the outgoing tide had a pretty good current.
Finally I catch another bass, a nicer grade spottie:

The slack tide hit us, and the bass just seemed to shut down completely- But then I had a solid hit, and insane vertical headshakes: Halibut!

Soon after I hooked into ANOTHER one, albeit smaller:

After that the bite was over, we didn't hook another bass, or even a croaker. We both lost most of our lures today. I had to resort to the Anus craws, which just dont seem to work.. maybe it's just the slack tide. I may give them another chance.
We just pretty much goofed off, went to the big pipe to check for large opaleyes, but they were mostly small.. 24/7 managed to catch a few:
Those hawgtails SUCK! I mean they work, and they work GREAT with trimming, but they are destroyed after a fish or two.
