Thanks for the report and the tips. Some I did not take into consideration like giving deckhands a heads up for gaffing fish. Also laying the fish out is another one I need to keep in mind. I usually like to land my own fish especially at the bow throwing irons at the cudas unless it is a bigger log.

Hi sweetfish,

I'm kinda sneaky actually .... those tips are for EVERYONE as a simple reminder. We don't fish for gar year-round so sometimes we forget some stuff related to that type of fishing/catching !!

I wrote it to also remind MYSELF of the things I need to do to increase the number of fish I land and end up on the cleaning table.
