Piru afternoon

Well off work early again and headed up to Piru Lake.
On the water about 1:00 launch and off I go.
Straight to the cove.
Working the Fat Ika, no love.
Trying the Senko, still no love.
Now trying my new Kitech and bam fish on. Its a fat Crappie.
Further into the cove and bam fish on, This time a nice LMB.
It was over 17" long.
Back home at 5:00 not a bad day.

Nice quick afternoon session, man. We went on Sunday from 6:00am-3:00pm and boated 19 fish up to 3.25#. The lake lice was out in full force though. Kind of makes me miss winter time!

Thanks Jeff, I have made it out on the W/E and too many lice out, so If I get a chance I go out during the week now.
Most of the time I have to share the lake with 3-4 other boats.
