Has anyone ever used the preserved anchovies, like ones at sports authority?

yep i have no luck trying for stripers but i have caught a nice cat fish on them. everyone says they work the best for stripers maybe im just unlucky haha.

What lake did you use them at? I was thinking about using them for cats. I was going to use them at perris or skinner

I saw some guys in Redondo with live Chovies they got at MDR bait dock (land accessible)

Those anchovies suck. I bought some and didnt catch anything with them. The frozen anchovies work better or you can use sardines too.

I was talking to a guy at Sports Authority and he said a guy told him to cut off the tail and the head and hook it thru the body. He said he heard those work better because of all the oils in the preserved pack compared to the frozen ones.

The oil smells bad and they are like rubber. Didnt get hit on the preserved anchovies but on the frozen ones i did.

Yea I was asking you. How is silverwood? Ive never been but I have drove past it on the way to hesperia lake
