So I hit the Legg up again this afternoon to get out of the house for a bit and also to see what's biting. I got there around 2:30 and decided to hit the middle lake up, I was there on Tuesday and saw a lot of activity (small schools of gills, bass fry, etc.) caught a few (6-7) really small gills too. Nice day out but to my surprise there wasn't really anyone fishing out there today, maybe 5-6 bass guys doing the rounds but that was about it.
The first spot I stopped at I tried fishing a red worm around 12" under a small weighted bobber with a tiny split shot around 5" above the hook on an ultralight set-up and letting it sit about 6' from shore. It worked the other day so I figured, 'why not?'. After a good 10 to 15 minutes without a bite, I started to walk the shore a bit and also set up my other rod. Almost the same set-up with a meal worm around 30" to 36" under the bobber. This time I casted out a bit further and within a few minutes got this guy...

Got a couple more around the same size using the red worm...

The others that were caught today were pretty tiny so I didn't even bother taking pics. Ended up leaving around 5:45 and caught around 7-8 gills/redear. Not a non-stop catching day but fun and relaxing nonetheless! Thanks for reading everyone!
Tight lines,
Alex
