packed up the boat and headed down to the harbor ariving around midnight. brought some chovies with us and some plastics and fished around the bridge and down by the ferry. Bay was wide open at high tide for smoothies. most were small but got a couple of big ones in the mix. When the tide began to flow out it was very hard to stay anchored so decided to drift plastics for bass. released a few then decided to call it a night around 5am. Headed back to the launch and it was now low tide. pulled the truck down the ramp got out and almost slipped and fell on my arse! Then came the fun put the boat on the trailer and tried to pull out only to slip and slide all over the place. in only 3 seconds my truck was almost sideways. Decided to get some help from the main gate because they have a truck to pull people out. I guess alot of ppl get stuck here! LOL! anyway the people were total pricks and pretty much said good luck the drivers of the trucks dont show up till 8am. THis was at 5:30am. The guy did offer me a shovel to try and put sand under the tires but when he got on the radio the guy who had the shovel was "busy" and told him over the loud speaker he didnt have time for **** like that. needless to say i was pissed the guy told me hi tide was due around 7am. and that hopefully i can figure a way to get the truck out or it would be underwater. luckily a good samaritan helped me out with a tow rope and we were on the road by 7am.
