Arthur to tell you a story, this has happen to me once.
Maybe 20 years ago on the Vagabond out of San Diego for a 3 day. Believe it or not that school of tuna in the video is small compared to the one we parked on for 6 hours straight.
Mostly the tuna were 20 to 25 pounders. I even got bored reeling them in. It was the same fish over and over and over. I know, Spoiled.... :Envious:

Anyway Capt. Mike Lackey see's me and said something. I said I am getting bored with these fish. He said "OH YEA! Come with me!" Next thing you know he's lashing a couple feet of 5 50 cord to a gaff pole minus the gaff. Then about 3 feet of 100 lb mono with a pinched down barb hook. He showed me the technique and it was game on. I Jacked poled at least 5 or 6 fish and then let someone else give a shot. Crazy day on the water.
The following day we ran into and boated 100+ Yellowtail. :Big Grin::Big Grin::Big Grin: The Vagabond is a great boat, get on it any chance you get.
