What styles and tricks do you use for fishing Deep lakes for LMB or an other fish?

There are lots of good ways to catch fish deep. It all depends on time of year and how active fish are. The drop shot is a really good way to get then to go all times of year deep. The jig and c-rig are my favorite ways in fishing deep structures in depths of 50ft out to 80. If you have experience with a swim bait that will get them too. Hope that this help

Just started learning the drop shot and i feel that it's the best i've tried.
c-rig is ok, but my issue is i don't know how deep i am, i can only estimate.
also, would you say bass are normally closer to the bottom?

It all depends on the time of year your fishing. Are you fishing from shore or a boat?
