I fished Elsinore for the first time in a while with my girlfriend last week off the shore. Didn't expect to get anything since it was super windy and we got there just before sun set. Ended up getting 2 bass, each about a pound on cranks within 15 minutes. Then, as it started to get dark things shut down. Decided to go back a few days later to tube a different area near some stickups. Tried drop shotting purple robos and green senkos with no luck. I was wondering if anyone does well with plastics there or is more of a crank and jerk bait lake since there are shad everywhere and the water clarity is pretty bad. Also, do the fish only bite in the early mornings and afternoons, because i tubed during the day and couldn't get a bite. Any info or PM's are appreciated.
