Fished the 1st event this year, well run, friends were up top and had everyone setup with entry fee and glow sticks.
Launch was no problems everyone was on the ball, lots of people out.

We started trolling some of new J805 rigs and got our first hit around trout point as we headed to Elizabeth canyon area where we planned to soak some crawdads.

Picked up another striper before we setup for the dads off a point in the main lake.

Nothing biting the dads but the bass wanted the crankbaits.

Worked the area for a couple bass and headed towards old SS
Picked up the best striper for the night, fiver

Soaked some more dads in the back, pretty nice back there no wind at all though most of the night.

Headed over to sharrons rest and had fish busting the surface but didn't want the cranks so we trolled back to the ramp and called it a night at 1am
Super tired, got home iced the fish showered and hit the sack.

I was out there on the dam and didnt get a hit.I was out there missing gear,headlamp.
Had a cold that was acting up but I didnt want to miss out.There was a group of asain guys to the
right of me killing um on bloodworms. Nice catch !!

Those are some nice stripers Dave! Sounds like a great time out on the water...


@ Hitts... How far down the dam did u go? Near the marina? Just past the bouy line? Or all the way down to that pump station? Thx. Oh and what were u using as bait?...
