Anyone do Castaic moonlight fishing from shore/dam?

Hey everyone,

Was wondering if anyone did the moonlight fishing last night from the shore/dam... And how the action was...

I went with the Mrs. last year to one and everyone on the dam skunked except for 1 guy down from us who landed one.

I might go again to the moonlight event coming up in July.

I went out in the boat, beautiful night, no wind, got into the stripers and bass, fun night

I don't have a boat though... So was hoping to hear some shore reports.
