I might be taking a trip up North in a few months to go salmon fishing in the Trinnity River. I've never gone before, so I have no clue what kind of setup I should be looking for. I'm not sure if this will be a usual kind of trip, so I don't plan on using the gear all that often, but I want something that will be functional while I am there. I don't need top of the line stuff, but I don't want cheap junk either.
Bait recommendations would be helpful also.
