Suppose to take my grandsons out Saturday, but one is sick so went out today with friend Skunkedagain. Did good on a variety of methods, but did best with small spoons on a slow steady retrieve. Had fun with super ultralight tackle, but we both lost a few big feeling fish. Ended up catching several big Bluegills and Redears. A nice day. Saw some cool jets fly over from the air show at March AFB.

Great pics, those are some nice looking fish.
Sometimes you have to look out for those mini jigs.
I caught this today Thursday, May 24, 2012 on 1/32 BPS Pearl Blue Shiner 1.5" jig two pound test line-east end.

It was a double hook up and I drug this poor Blue gill around for 15 minutes as I was trying to retrieve half of my spooled line.

If you're float tubing back there, you can just reach down and pull a leech off your leg.
