Hey guys ill be fishing puddingstone on june 2nd from 7p.m. to 4 a.m . I was going to try and catch some kitties but my uncle currently has my catfish pole some i wanna get some pan fish. I usually fish sailboat cove in the daylight by the boat launch and do pretty well. Will they still bite like they do in the day? Does any1 have and other suggestion, baits, or retrevies? I usually do a drop shot will a red worm or trout magnet , or i will get about a bobber and 4 feet down it have a gulp minnow and a slip shot and reel in slow then stop etc.

If you focus on weedy structures you can usually nail some bluegills.

bluegill are fairly diurnal, however you can catch them all night. the thing is, they move SHALLOW at night.

You dont need to cast far at all.

They like warmth, and at night the shallows are super comfy for them.

They usually shut down at night, but if you have a lantern place it near the water and they will come.
