So i decided to go to corona last night since i didnt have anything else to do. Got to the lake around 5:10. Got rods set up shortly after and it was pretty slow. I got one bite but it didnt stick. It was dead till it got dark and finally i got a bite and hooked the fish. I can recall the time but it was dark aready. From then on i didnt get any more bites till around 9:30. The bite was on after that. I managed to land 4 more cats and missed one at the very end when security showed up to kick everyone out. Biggest cat was between 3 and 4 lbs. There wasnt many people fishing. There was only 2 cars in the area i was fishing and saw one boat out on the water. Wasnt a bad night after all.

what you use for bait? what side you ?jd's point or the dam?

way to go out there hopefully catfish season is somewat good compared to trout. Shoreline was almost completely dead every time i was there needed a boat if not it was a big ol skunk

Yeah hopefully it is a good season. Shore fishing is good most of the time but this year im prepared for when it isnt that good. Im going to take out my 14 foot valco to corona and irvine.

Yeah theres a lot of cats in corona. The ones i caught were probably leftovers from last year.
