Went to NPH with BassFishing24/7 around 7 am to go catch some bass..
We both started tossing creatures, bass were really tight along structure, and VERY shallow, they were absent from eelgrass beds.. Sun poked out early, to the detriment of the bass fishing.. =\
But we didn't give up and still managed a couple of decent spotties:

A couple of people nearby in a boat on the outer edge of a dock managed an obviously legal halibut.. Nice job whoever you guys were!
As the day dragged on, and the tide came back in, the bass just didn't want to play, they were way under the docks, only accessible by float tubers.
So I decided to switch to mussel, and this nice perch bit, not a monster like the last time, but alot more colorful:

After that, The tide came in, and I was restricted to the small pockets of shore, and managed one more Black perch, I accidentally stabbed it in the heart X(

Had to keep it.. Real shame, this one was beautiful! I think from now on, when I start getting short bites, I'll toss small grubs, maybe even a couple of power nymphs.
Another slow day, but we beat the skunk and got the right kind.. Still a nice day!
