TunaVic calls this place Sweetwater I call it a local Cesspool. lol Anywho, made a little trip to the land of wonders, the first in a while, to target the greenbacks. The result: 1 nice green bass!

And yes I was using a spincaster. It's loaded with 2lb Izor XXX, and the damn reel only has like 1.5lbs max drag. So, the fight was pretty sweet.

Oh and I was using a Banjo Minnow.

The fight was stellar. The crazy thing was that after working this guy for 10min, as he was interested but a little cautious, he grabbed my lure when I took my eye off of my lure and observed the scenery.

Nice bass.

Thanks.

Very cool spin caster. So, what's the deal on fishing the banjo minnow? Is there something special you have to do with it?

Thanks. There's no secret to the banjo minnow. It doesn't work! But, it will work under special conditions and they are when the bite is WFO! I was using something else.

Nice bass. Did you try any creatures? The soft plastic bite should be alot better now.

No creatures, I hardly ever throw that stuff. And yeah the soft plastic bite is heating up. Well actually the bite is heating up even more especially since the lake is growing a nice weedline.
