I have asked them to quit stocking trout because there are too many in the lake right now and you pay $22.00 dollars to fish and you have your limit in 1 hour and it's over. We need to thin the herd so that we can stay out there and fish for 2 or 3 hrs instead of only 1 hr. Peace.

My buddy and i were there last Friday and we got about 12 bass each on top water baits. After one we rented a boat and we both got limits on trout.. awesome lake to fish

I'm sick of dinkers. The lake is infested with them.
Big Daddys spot on with the hour or less limits.
Bring on the kitties!!!!!!

A lot of other SoCal lakes would love to have that problem. Personally, I like the idea of being able to get a limit of trout right out of the gate for me and my friends. Especially with that good chance to catching a double digit Rainbow of Steelhead by trolling deep in mid-lake with big lures. Then I can move on to some of the best bass fishing right now imaginable. Crappie are getting into the pitcher now as well.
I agree with you, hooks, to bring on the kitties. Yes indeed. Actually catfishing is as good right now as it could get. For the fishermen who are targeting them, they are doing well especially on the big blues. But the lake will be stocking lots of Cats very soon now since the official opener is slated for June 8. I am looking forward to that.
As soon as that first big stocking (10K pounds) arrives, I will get it all on video for you guys so all will know. Like you, I am also looking forward to a summer of great catfishing !! I love it !!
