Wearing a straw hat to a professional baseball game.

Definitely a fashion statement. I would be on board for that.

As long as you're not a grown åss man that actually brings a baseball glove to the game wearing a personalized uniform with their last name on it, I'm ok with lots of fashion statements at games.

My perennial favorite was bringing a Camelbak full of beer.

If straw hats are good enough for the stadium ushers, they are good enough for me. Just don't be inconsiderate and wear a coolie hat that I have to crane my neck around to view the game.

If you lack the hand eye coordination to dodge a baseball that originated 400 feet away, and it hits you squarely in the nuts, perhaps that's God's way of telling you that you shouldn't be reproducing.
