I hope this isn't one of those cases where concussions and hits to the head may have contributed to his over all health and demise.

One of my favorite athletes of all time. Tragic....

The buzz right now is that he shot himself in the chest so that his brain could be dissected for damage.

He tried to kill himself 2 years ago after his girl filed domestic abuse charges on him.

I think a lot of media outlets are referring to Dave Duerson in the Jr Seau stories, and the details are being muddled.

Duerson was the 50-year-old former NFL safety who committed suicide a few months ago. He actually did donate his brain to Boston University researchers who study them and find out what the neurological effects of playing in the National Football League are.
