These are 1 pound size bass. How the hell they got so fat ? I 've been seeing these now and then in an Asian supermarket. I talked to the store manager and was told that they are farmed raised. Don't know where from or how they got here, but felt a little better. The last batch, which was about six months ago, looked identical in proportion and size ( crazy fat and football ).
Any theory as to how and where they got these? A private lake in South OC were also stocked with these fish, but they were bluish in color. I don't have a photo anymore but they were freakin blue. We started calling them "Blue-Bass".
