My pops asked me to post this since he doesnt have an account.

Next month we'll be taking a trip to the eastern sierras and we were wondering where would be a good place to camp and be able to ride(quad/ranger) to get to some back country type spots. hopefully somewhere between bishop and bridgeport. any help would be great
thanks

You can camp at Sherwin Creek campground and ride up to Laurel Lake. It's out of Mammoth.

you could stay at browns campground on bentings crossing/ lake crowley, it has good fishing and I've seen people riding there before.
