dropping whole live squid to try and get a yellow or a white sea bass in the squid grounds. but only managed the sand dabs

so after that we went around the island looking for anything. and we stopped at some patties and got a lot of bass yet again. and i dont even bother taking pics of small ones haha.

so after that we see some huge boils with big yellow tail under them we throw everything we had on right through the boil and only a follower we through out rapalas irons and squid. and nothing they only wanted live sardines i think. so we try to follow them and we see about five other boils and those ones still dont bite so im starting to get pissed haha.

and we chase boils for another couple hours or so and still nothing so we start heading back and we see a cattle boat so we try are luck around there and we start chuming and then 5 yellows come right under the boat eating the chum i was in shock i have never heard of them doing that. we were cutting up macs. oh ya the macs were insane there you couldnt have your line in the water for more then ten seconds without catching a good 3 pound mac we just kept them for chum. haha. so i throw out a chunk of mac and for an hour i just keep getting the macs so i start throwing in closer so i can see it and move it when i see one coming for it and then the yellow come out and he is eating the chum and my heart stops when he looks at mine. then inhales it. and then bendo. got him. and after a good fight and a scare around the anchor a couple times i got a nice ten pound yellow tail.

i was so happy haha.

and later that night we went back on the peir and i caught a nice shovel nose.

http://i44.photobucket.com/albums/f33/christianmetalhead909/Catalina2007037.jpg and my buddy caught a smaller one,

Brad, you sure have a bag of all species.
Congratulation my brother and God bless you and family. It was very kind of your parents to foster the kid that you brought to BBL. I work with some students who live with foster parents as well. They are angels.
