Combing the surf for pure sand

Thought I wasn't going to hit the surf this weekend because of the rain, but late Saturday my girlfriend said she wanted to visit her old co workers in San Pedro. I just couldnt pass on an opportunity to fish. Pretty much every cast was either a bag, or eel grass. Caught the usual Sand sharks, pancakes, and a couple of rays. Out of the legals this year, this 21" fought. Thought it was going another keeper. Released it and called it a day after an hour of fishing.

No lie...I'll take the "just missed" flattie over the 3 WSB (white sea bags) and four perch I got today. :Wink: Nice job out there...
