I don't know where to start? Well let me start off by thanking ALL our sponsors for helping us out with this event.I want to thank everyone who contributed raffle prizes and food for this event.I want to thank all our chefs and people who pitched in every big item,or little.I'm not going to do a full report cuss i'm going to leave some room for TaperSteve to speak! Lots of laughs,food,old friends,met new friends,brew,great weather,nice breeze,7 bar b que grills burning can't complain right? Everyone left today with prizes.Everyone had a full tummy.Everyone was smiling and laughing.The young,older,all race,kids,fathers,mothers,vetrans,grandparents,FAM ILY-FISHING-FUN!We had so much food we invited the regular Irvine Lake regulars to come and eat.Yes it still runs deep! Congrats to Big Daddy for taking first place in the Rib Cook Off! Congrats to This Fool for taking second place in the Rib Cook Off ! Congrats to BRING IT 4.0 trout for taking first place in this years April Farm Fest! Congrats to Mrbiggdr for taking second place 2.13 trout in this years April Farm Fest! Congrats to TROLLY for taking "Other Species" Biggest fish trophy! And this years FARMER OF THE DAY winner is...................TAPERSTEVE! TaperSteve farmed a huge catfish.(n00b)He missed out on a "swappertunity".And um....It was a heart breaker...LMAOOOOOO!! Well I hope I did my part well friday and saturday! this event was awesome. BIG BIG BIG props to Tapersteve and hitts you guys made this happen, and a big thanks to all the sponsors and people who donated to the raffle you guys are awesome

and big props to all the cooks i know there was only two trophy but there should of been 6 every one of you guys deserved a trophy all the ribs were good and im so proud to be part of this group cuz even thou the last hour was hectic and every one was running around trying to get there ribs done in time we still all took time to help each other and lend things to one another despite the fact we were all competing agents each other that was my favorite part of the entire event the way we all helped each other out

This reminded me of how it use to be 2 years ago when i first joined and it seemed like there was an event every two months, and every one would be so pumped up for the next one. I cant tell you how many times people asked when is the next one when is the next when is the next after every thing was done.

This is it guys that event was the resurrection of Team 57, and im so glad there were some new faces that showed up so the next generation of T57 got to see what its all about what the Team 57 spirit truly means and is and hopeful go home and tell all there friends and bring some new people with them to the next event.

A guy that I had become friends with at the Lip Ripperz #1 event called me Friday afternoon undecided of where to go fishing, I called him back and said dude you have to go to Irvine here's what's going on, so he showed up late but was there to witness Hitts doing his impressions. I recorded some of it and I listen to it so far probably twice a day just to remember and relive EVERYONE laughing their butts off. I think we might have a new member but I haven't heard back from him yet.:Beer Toast: :Titanic::High Five:

What I am saying is this. Dana and the crew (you included) put that " Flava in yo ears", and now you are making it real "Juicy"

Eric its always nice to have the Dana's true old school Team 57 vetrans sticking around.And of course it feels better when
we can involve new members as he would want.I'm not gonna lie to you.As everyone was pulling off shore and
bringing raffle prizes,their kids and familys.More food,water,chairs,the lake staff,the lake regulars,the bass fisherman,
strangers and then the breeze set in when all day we didnt have any unless you were trolling.Some one came up to me and said Dana is here with us.Man I stepped back about 10 feeta nd took a deep breath and asked myself,what the hell did we just put together here and I hope we are ready.It was about a total of 80 people.I mean it was unreal.
Steve kept saying i'm sure it will all fall into place.Well......and it did! Thank you again for all who joined us ! Team 57 is back on the map and is the talk of Irvine lake after feeding everyone last saturday who came down ! Talk about feeling "Center staged".Cars were passing by honking,watching us etc.Crazy.........

Thank you all for attending this years Farm Fest! Lots of familar faces (the usual suspects) as well as some new ones. Congrats to Big Daddy & Thisfool for taking down the awards for Best Ribs! We had a 4-way tie for 3rd place (Bobber Boy, Josh, 2quik, & MrBiggdr). Way to go to our new Farm Fest Champion (Bring it) & runner up (MrBiggdr). As always the Irvine Lake staff went above and beyond their normal call of duty to help us out and show us a good time. Thanx Daniella, Jimmy, Jerry, and the rest of the Vine staff!

It's still all a blur.... so sad its already come and gone. With that being said I already can't wait for the next event, the Catfish Co-op! I'll be counting down the days one-by-one!

Wow it was an event that I missed and I really missed out of the fishing, laughs and the RIIIIIIIIIIIIIIBBBBBBBBBBBSSSSSSSS. They looked great. I did manage to do my share of fishing in the Sierras and it was painfull(alot of long walks), but I needed the excersize. I am glad that the donations went to a great bunch of people. Congrat to Scott for winning one of my favorite Poles that I wraped and congat to Big Daddy. As usual he is always cooking it up for team 57 members from the very first day he joined up. Congrat to all the team 57 members for keeping the spirit of Dana alive. God bless you all

Yeah Bob you did miss out but there are plenty of video's out there (I think) like the one's on my phone that I'm still trying to figure out how to get them transferred to computer since they or the main one is so long, plenty of laughs! When I describe the ongoings of Friday night they can only imagine how much we were all laughing along at Hitts, then I play it for them and most start laughing just listening to it.

Bob yes you missed out on a whole lot.It was too much energy flowing like we all had 6 rockstar drinks each.
The food was like heaven.Every bite you just wanted to die,ask Trolly. Trolly was hitting cirsles aound use trolling slaying fish while talking about he cant wait to eat some ribs! Everyone was so full,it got quiet about 40 mins after cuss everyone was stuffed.There was good cakes,and corn bread.Man I can keep going about all the food there.And of course Trolly brought the corn! Lol... Someone brought this pineapple cake..omg it was melting right when it hit your mouth.
2quik had him a rental.And it was all fun all the way around !! See you in a few weeks !!
