My fishing buddy Repo Man and I made a last trip to our favorite bluegill honey hole, and they did not disappoint!

Bear in mind that these are northern strain bluegill so they do not grow as big as the 'gills in Lake Perris, but they were fat, and they fight extremely well.

We caught and released about 50 fat 'gills apiece, and also got a few small largemouth to boot.

On light tackle this is just too much fun. Weather was great, it was great to get back on the water again!
