First time at the vine,first time tubing and my bros first Largy 4/22 me and the bro

First time at irvine lake and i loved it . We started tubing around 7am and by 7:30 i was on a nice 2lber These trout are in charge when your on the tube they will make you do a complete circle haha , We only managed to land 1 trout on the tube so we rented a boat and trolled the lake for a bit and nothing we still dont know how to so we didnt expect much. We went back to the spot where i caught my fish tubing "Why rent a boat then huh lol" and it was game on right there . Anchored up casted pink and white mice tails and boom 7 trout in 2 hours and a couple of misses. "Story of the day" My brother was trying to land some catfish using nightcrawlers dipped on some bite on cajun, Line is in the water and in about 5 mins rod goes bendo but missed it . Casted out again ,a couple minutes later bendo again the fish is on and as i see color i say its a catfish,no a trout nope none of those it was a largemouth bass !! his first largy ever, boy was he excited haha He screamed his lungs out lol.. We finished the day with 8 trout all caught on pink & white mice tails . It turned out to be a perfect day at irvine especially for our first time i will definitely be back soon. Ill probably tube it this sunday
