Had a good short trip Sunday on my birthday weekend. Pretty packed lot, tourney, but I had no problems finding spots or have any trouble with any other boaters. Fished from 7-11. 2 of us caught 15 LMB, all 1-3 pounds. Caught them all on small senkos and small dropshots. Nothing on bigger senkos or bigger worms. Probably just didn't fish were the big girls were hanging out. We only hit 4 or 5 spots due to some minor engine issues (shocker, again!) It was my buds first time on the dropshot, and we caught the bigger fish on it, so he loves it now. My Dad had a trip, so he missed out. I alsways seem to do better when he isn't there. Coincidence? I hope not...Be back out there soon. Thanks to Matt for all that he does at Last Chance. Will post pics next time when we find the big girls. There were a lot of bait boaters out there. Is the pump still on and how did they do? I may consider trying for the stripeys next time. Thanks.
