Speed limit bouys removed at Lake Perris?

I heard that the 5 MPH bouys were removed from the Bernasconi area at Lake Perris. This is bad news for us float tubers and fishermen. Does anyone know if this is permanent?

You probably saw my post on another thread. I'm not sure if it's permanent, but the sheriff boat didn't hassle us about fishing in the area. It's definitely going to be dangerous fishing out further than 12-13 foot of depth. I tried staying in 10, but kept getting zoomed by waterskiiers. Could it be possible that they are moving it since the water level is supposed to be moving as well?

the water level definetly is rising i used to be able to walk the shore in the back area of bernasconi and i think its only until the summer time im sure theyle put em back up wen the crowds start comin in

TDG- You can take boats back behind the bouys, you just cannot go faster than 5 mph, or leave a wake.
