Water is warming up, some Micro-Weed and the usual bagfish

to deal with here and there, yet water was nice and clear !!! No

real heavy bird dive situations observed throughout the LBC area,

while traveling the whole area from Cherry to Alamitos. Bait did seem

to be more prevalent in the Bay side, yet mostly those Micro- Minnow

schools. One bite, one Bendo, one catch, but glad it was at least the

target that was caught !!! http://www.scsurffishing.com/forums/images/smiles/icon_biggrin.gif Bugger was real strong puller for a

Halibut http://www.scsurffishing.com/forums/images/smiles/icon_eek.gif Sure was glad that new $17.00 LC I bought at Big

Fish Tackle in Seal Beach a couple of weeks ago hooked -em good !!!

nice catch. I was there on Monday and there were a lot of undersize 15-17 inches. I caught at least 5 halibuts. They were biting good. The big units should be coming very soon.

About 18in. I think ? Gotta get a more legible tape, don't like the heavy one,s though,

when I walk and cast at long distances.Paper tapes don,t give real accurate measures sometimes !

Daniel,

Conditions look incredibly calm at that location! I think the WSB's really like those conditions to just sit on the sand and wait for the unsuspecting prey to roll by for the easy meal!

Congrats on the Flattie of the right kind!
