hey all been a while since i've gone on a charter boat for fishing
any suggestion on a boat and when to go for a 3day trip

I know the Fortune out of San Diego is running a 3 day trip this weekend, actually leaving Thursday evening. They have several others scheduled in May. The Big Game 90 is running multi day trips to San Clemente and San Nicolas Island. The Aztec out of Seaforth landing in Mission Bay has a 2.5 day scheduled over Memorial Weekend, which I hope to be on.

I'm sure you want some tuna action. You can never predict if the albacore will come back again, but what is fairly predictable is some kind of tuna action around Labor Day. My advice to you is to see if the albacore show up by the 4 th of July, if they don't wait till Labor Day and try again. The boats nowadays aren't booked solid anymore so you can afford to wait and see what develops.
