A buddy and I returned to Arkansas with Capt Ron's One Eyed Guide Service and we killed the fish. I landed my two personal best size stripers weighing 45 and 40 pounds. They were caught about 45 minutes apart and was a cap to my best fishing morning ever. Can't remember the size of all or the number of fish we landed, but my best five weighed 45, 40, 33, 31, and 30 pounds. Got to visit the hatchery as they were spawning stripers so I will post those pics soon. 34558345693457134570345613456034562345633456434565 34566345673455934568

Here are some hatchery pics. This year they will plant 2.1 million striper fingerlings. The aquarium shot is 60,000 day old striper fry. The hatchery spawns largemouth, crappie, walleye, bluegill, stripers, hybrids, and catfish. Great to see a DFG that actually takes a hands on approach to improve fisheries. While we were there they were putting together 20 foot tall bamboo crappie condos to stock in one of the lakes. They even list the GPS cordinates to the condos on their website. An awsome well maintained fishery, something we in California are lacking.

Let me go in and tell the old lady it's been a good ride for 30 years but I'm out of here.

More likely she would cut into something else if you tell her that, LOL.
I know my wife would!

As it was, when I told her I wanted to fish Arkansas last month she nearly had a fit.
I had a great time but too bad I never got any of the size fish you did.
I will definitely have to go back! Better start working on my wife now.
AND hide all the kitchen knives!

Would you like me to call her for you my friend. If were moving you might as well go with us. Plus I may need a dentist if my wife knocks some teeth out of my mouth tonight.
