Went to Newport yesterday with evosamurai during the break in the weather.

We spent a little while in the surf but the water was reeeeeally cold.,

Big sandcrabs are deep right now. Nothing but micro crabs.

After that we hit the harbor for a bit. There were mackerel all over the shallows.

I have a pile of gitzit's and have never caught anything except Small Mouth Bass with em and a couple BSP on the coast.

Good work getting something to pull on the line.
