Well... as Thursdays roll around... I'm always thinking about getting pops on some action... and with the recent trout stocking and questionable conditions at the beaches... decided to hit up Castaic this am... was surprised to see moms show up too when he rolled up :lol: She didn't want to get a 1-day license today... so figured it'll be just pops and I fishin.
we got to the lake around 7:30am... and was only one other fisherman there... was nice, cloudy, and cool and not even a hint of a breeze at all...

was another nice am out with my folks... my pops got his fix for fishing.. errr.. catching that is... and had a great time talking and having a meal by the lake. I really enjoy seeing my dad catch fish as usual... I could care less about me catching anything...
easily caught our limits (I was pretty busy taking vids and unhooking his trout!)... and I'm sure these trout will make their way into one of my mom's spicy Korean stews or simply on the grill soon :Big Grin:
