caught this in long beach twice already, the first one i caught was big but didn't get a chance to snap a pic. all released.

I like this shot showing the Rattle Snake like Fangs on this guy pulled from NPH in 2010.
By the way be carfull handeling also. Was not like getting hit by a Sting Ray or Sculpin but this one got me with a spikey fin from somewhere and about 2 days later I was wishing I had never touched it.

My buddies n I call it the lizard fish but I dont know what is the scientific name for that creature..
All i know is, they do damage to plastics.. hate them!

I remember when I was in Vietnam I caught those snakehead fish which look very similar to this one, and I was like Wth are they doing here in america when I pulled them up.

we called those bullheads growing up in northern california. Some of these species used to spook Sausalito residents:
