:Big Grin::Big Grin::Big Grin::Big Grin::Big Grin::Big Grin::Big Grin::Big Grin::Big Grin::Big Grin::Big Grin::Big Grin::Big Grin::Big Grin::Big Grin::Big Grin::Big Grin::Big Grin::Big Grin::Big Grin::Big Grin::Big Grin::Big Grin::Big Grin::Big Grin::Big Grin::Big Grin::Big Grin:

I'm gonna make this a short one,

Huge moon the night before
A few bait birds..
Surf 1-3.
Some Salad.

Low tide. Was around 3:40AM
high tide. Around 9:35AM

Fished the in coming tide on Saturday.
Was able to pluck a few shorts and as well a new specie for myself, a zebra pearch.
My buddie also scored a super fat corbina,
and I was able to get a new Hali PB (from the sand)

Released her as I do with 97% of the fish I catch....

My camera died right after this pics, so couldn't get the rest of the fish.

Fish Count:
-2 lil Shorts
-Few Surf Pearch
-Sport Fin
-HUGE Corbina!
& my new PB ....a 28in. I'm gettin close!!!!!!!

Great pic and great attitude! I'm kinda new around here. Just getting into the light tackle thing. I've been a bait/wait guy for centuries. I've got a light tackle setup as intro gear: Shimano Sahara 2500FD and a Daiwa VIP 8'6" Medium fast rod. Do you mind telling me what your typical rod/reel set up is? I hear a lot of people using the Daiwa 253 reel and about 8' polls, either Shimno Crucials or Carrot Stix. Any info would be appreciated.

Nice Butt. Which Turners you working ?
Best not to thumb the gills if you plan to release them.
Thanx for the post.

Your set up will do just fine.as long as your comfortable fishing it..
I prefer a baitcasting reel tho, much lighter, makes cast and retrieves way easier and Most have stronger drags.
I currently fish a curado 200e5(this is a slower reel so its a bit harder to keep contact with biger surf)paired with a cumara cuc77m 7'7"10-20..I love the rod!!

Good luck out there!!
