alright folks... this deal just came out today

perhaps you're thinking I deserve an early b-day present... maybe a late b-day present.... or maybe just because (as the Mrs. would say) :Big Grin:

www.americanlegacyfishing.com is selling a bunch of the G.Loomis rods (spinning/casting/fly) that were used as displays at this year's BASS Master Classic event. These are new rods still in their original packaging. Nothing wrong with them...

but they are selling them at 20% discount! No CA tax, and free shipping for orders over $200. If under $200, then shipping is usually around $12.95-14.95 I think.

Furthermore, simply sign up for their e-mail newsletter and you'll get an e-mail with a coupon code for $25 off your first order! If you already have signed up, then just create or use another e-mail address.

They have lots of sizes of G.Loomis rods. But, I don't see the popular 8'6" salmon/steelhead rod length that most people use. However, they do have some 9'+ and 10'+ rods I saw with similar action.

here's the complete listing:
http://www.americanlegacyfishing.com/featured-categories/g-loomis-bassmaster-classic-display-rods.html

here are all the spinning rods:

here are all casting rods:
http://www.americanlegacyfishing.com/featured-categories/g-loomis-bassmaster-classic-display-rods/bassmaster-classic-casting-rods.html

and for you fly-rodders:
http://www.americanlegacyfishing.com/featured-categories/g-loomis-bassmaster-classic-display-rods/bassmaster-classic-fly-rods.html

and for more deals... they have a selection of Shimano Compre rods for 35% off, Crucial rods for 30% off, and Cumulus/Cumara rods for 15% off. Check out the rest of their front page deals.

I've ordered from them before and their service is top notch. No problems.

Hope you guys get what you want... and deserve

Get'em while supplies last~ don't forget to sign-up for their $25 off your first order coupon code though...

edit: **some rods already selling out...**

That's a good special, but we need to support our local and California Warehouses. Try Tackle Warehouse or Bass Tackle Depot first. :)

As soon as Tackle warehouse and the other two you mention price match I will be more than happy to support our California warehouses :Big Grin:

I wouldn't classify them as "local" anyhow.. Small mom and pop shops are usually the ones that need support, not those guys

Let me rephrase what I said....We all need to support our local shops first and then try and give the other California based warehouses the next shot. Yes 20% on a rod purchase is a big difference for sure....Just remember ur local places first and give em a shot.

Hey I'm all about supporting local tackle shops.. I purchase most of my tackle and less expensive items like hooks/sinkers/lures at Fish'n Fools here in the Valley even though I could get them cheaper at Walmart or online somewhere. I like having that personal customer service and helpful advice However... I'd rather pay $80 for a Shimano Stradic reel shipped than pay $129+tax at local tackle shop... Or if I can get 20% off on more expensive items without any CA tax on top of that?.. Then I'm going with that money-saving option.
