Had a couple of hours tonight to hit one of my local ponds for a little catfish action. Eine meanie minie moe which one of my local ponds do I go. Let's try Ralph B. Clark tonight. Fished my usually method, a slip bobber with worms. Ended up catching three catfish, a 2lbs, a 3lbs and a really nice 4 pound catfish. After catching my second catfish, a nice young came over to ask me if I caught the same fish twice. I said no the second one was the 4 lbs and the first one was the 2 lbs, so I told him the second one was alot bigger then the first one so it was definitely not the same fish. I asked him if he had caught anything and he told me a hard luck story of losing a 6 lbs catfish right next to the bank. Normally a 6 lbs catfish might be a slight exaggeration in size, but in Feb when I caught 80 catfish out of Clark I did catch one that was 6 lbs, so I don't think he was exaggerating. All in all alot of fun for just a couple of hours of fishing. All the Catfish were C&R.
