Felt like with the weather improving that the bass bite might be coming back in one of my favorite harbors so I decided to call up Jina and Timmy to hit the water. With the amount of people we had skiffing it seemed to make sense. Plus it would allow me to do some quick spot searching for when I break out the tube.
Anyway, all in all it was a great day. Bass were still a bit scarce but we managed to put a few on deck as well as a few short butts. Jina had the hot stick of the day. The mackerel were wide open in some spots and it made it hard to get to the bass, but we managed. Here are some pics.

Emilie and I had a great time talking with you and Jina last weekend and I think it's pretty cool to see the two of you enjoying a day on the water together with friends. I'll have to try the harbor some time......that fresh mackerel kinda caught my eye.:Cool:

Congrats on a solid day skiffing it in the harbor. I've only hit NPH a few times, but always had a lot of success fishing for spotties. It's a really great fishery that can be enjoyed year round. Props on fishing as a couple too! Looking forward to hitting the surf with ya sometime soon,

but I'd like to state the fact that i was quite the farmer that day.
The only thing I managed to hook was a couple of mackies.
Didnt want to be caught in a picture with any of those suckers!:LOL:

Thanks for sharing a nice day on the waters of my so much missed fishing grounds of late!

Good luck on the new adventure in the northern territory! I know there is a great opportunity to get the mission done up there with an off the wall "Linesider" from the surf!
