The bass bite was very good in the 3rd cove to the right of the docks. Somebody told me once that it was the deepest one for shore fishing. Caught an almost 2lbs panfish right off the bat. Then nothing until around 11:30 hooked up on a LMB about 4lbs. Next cast on again with another LMB this one a little bigger. Hour or so goes by, and I hook another panfish this one lightly bigger than the first one. None of them on a lure. Just used a nightcrawler on a drop-shot set-up. All in all it was a good birthday fishin trip. All thanks to the JEWEL!!!!
