BBL 4/3 Early a.m. & tried to put the kids on fish.

I started out this morning checking here because I failed or I should say Charter did. They decided to cut a wire & not tell us Sweet huh? Anyway wanted to stay close to the house so hit Juniper first light or so & set up. I was out of live bait & too tired to jig so PB it was. I was there for about two hours farmed a couple & had to keep the big one darn fish fight so hard & swallowed the hook. Just knew it would never make it after the fight it gave plus a 18 treble in its gut. Oh well nice fillets lol. Heres the porn.

Then I went home for coffee & to grab the kids to try & put them on some action. We drove around to the close spots but it was 11am or so now & the folks was out. Drove around to boulder bay & saw no one there so I figured great spot for the kids. Boy didnt want to fish but my 10yr old girl was next to the bridge trying her luck at jiggin.( radio edit for non fishing pointless crap) My bad I'll keep it with the locals next time & not the forums.

Nice job again Cameron!!!! Gorgeous fish as always ... POM that wasn't u swooping in was it???? haha..... Cameron.. too many people used to fishing at City/Park and paylakes where there just isn't much room... unfortunately, some never learned proper fishing etiquette... it's even worse on some of the streams and rivers..... Tight Lines and Full Tails!!!

Thanks for the report. Definatley one of my favorite lakes to fish around So Cal. Some people just don't get it and never will!
It's a big lake and no need to crowd a family.

What do you mean "its what we do"? you sound like one of those knuckehead truck chasers who frequent city parks! Just so you know it is NOT ok to do that. It disrespectful, irresponsible, and rude. A real fisherman gives his fellow angler room to fish and respects others, especially if there are children around. It doesn't matter what your tossing, jigs, lures, bait or flies.
Cameron, thanks for the report and great pics as always, sure does make me want to get up there and launch the tube and get some of those beautiful fish, and props for dealing with the rude city dudes. To bad you have to deal with such nonsense when all you want to do is wet a line with your kids.

AND Cam, you had plenty of time to speak up yourself and let the person know that you felt so strongly about them invading your space, or "trapping" your kids on the ice shelf lol get a grip dude. The way you handled the whole situation was rather awkward an really left us wondering if you were mad at us, the kids, or someone on the phone lol.. Then to not nut up an say you thought we were in "your" spot after all you have said on here lol comical! ..If it bothered you that bad, you should of put the kids in the car then told them you needed a second to talk to these guys. Not yell out the window as you said you did( must of not been very loud) then go TYPE about it on the web. your funkin hilarious! nice brun out by the way, thats when we knew you were pissed LOL ..and I think you threatened me with a couple big Locals like yourself ;) are we even?
