Santa Fe Dam Session

Got off work today around 4 pm and I decided to hit up Santa Fe Dam since it is still free. Fished for about 90 minutes and only managed one bass that was around 1 lb. I was drop shotting a 4 in oxblood roboworm on a Size 2 mosquito hook with a 3/16th oz Bakudan weight on 6 lb Izorline. I fished mostly the northeast shoreline and was targeting various brushpiles that were in about 6 ft of water. I did not see any fish on beds.

Tight lines everybody and remember, please practice catch and release!

good job on the bass i was there sunday for a little and got skunked on the bass and trout:( . i also didnt see any bass beds, just a few bluegill beds. some people i seen caught some carp and a catfish.

Only one bass? That's one more than all my past 5 trips out to SFD these past few weeks. Good job.
