Crowley Lake:
Fishing was slow until we went up the north arm where the owens flows into the lake. Fish would only bite gold lures. Top lure was a gold/firetiger z-spoon. I ended up catching 5. There was no keepers but i did lose one that was about 20" to 22".
Upper Owens:
Fishing was awsome. Everytime i fished i caught 15-20 fish in a couple hours. Top bait was a red powerworm with a split shot 18" above it. anywhere there was a drop-off or bend in the river we caught fish. Nothing big all about 12".
Virginia Lakes:
We only fished little virginia for about 2 hours. I caught one and hooked up on one that busted off. Top bait was a chartruese powerworm split shotted. As long as you could get it out there you were garenteed fish.
Totals:
Me ~ 38 trout (12"-17")
My Dad ~ 3 trout (12"-14") new to fishing
