The wind was blowing, but the bass were chewing.
Fished the wood today and managed to get 3 LMB. 2 for me and 1 for my friend. All fish were caught on 3 different creature baits. Fished from about 12:15-2:45. Got a few nice fish to follow on the small swimbait but none committed so I switched to creature baits and they chewed them up. Missed two fish unfortunately. On one I had my drag loose from when I was messing with a backlash and when I set the hook the reel just spun. :/ The other one picked my bait up then dropped up. But overall it was a good day and was able to get some quality fish in my short outing. The smallest fish was 2lb-14oz, the second was a 3-10 and the my friends was a 3-7. My friend hasn't bass fished with much success at the Wood but I was able to hook him up with a nice one....sorry for the awkward way he is holding it. :]]
