Im thinking of hitting this place up this weekend. i guess a 20lb bass was caught out of there many years ago?...hmmmmm sounds good to me. but other than that all i know is that the lake is surrounded by tulys and very deep. Anybody know of any off shore structure or some go to spots? Im thinking they should be spawning right now? Anthing will help. thanks

Very clear lake bro! I grew up about 15min. away. Several giants have been caught there, most of them on live bait! If you're gonna fish live bait, post up on deep points on the east side of the lake or off Moe's hole. If throwing plastics, go finesse in natural colors and purples. All three docks on the north side hold big fish too! The lake is all vegetation..... Im pretty sure Miramar has 4 or 5 of the top 25 Largies ever recorded!!!

Hope that helps, Good luck!

Budget cuts hit Miramar hard. The concession and boat rentals are closed, and there were no trout stocks this winter. You will need to use the iron ranger for your permit, so be sure to have the exact change. The permit is $8 and another $7 if you launch a private boat.

Forget about Moes if they aren't stocking trout! I haven't fished there in about 10yrs. but soft jerkbaits in salt n pepper and other baitfish colors work well also....
